MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF AMR™ COLLECTION

Dear AMR™ Collection Family,

Together we find ourselves living in unprecedented times due to the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Almost overnight our daily routines have been disrupted and our lives significantly changed. This is a situation that truly affects us all and I understand you may have questions. Because of that, I am committed to sharing clear, up-to-date information about where we are and where we are going. Authenticity is one of our core values and authentic and transparent communication is particularly critical at this time.

PROMOTING PERSONAL WELL-BEING
Please know that your health is our highest priority and we care about the wellbeing of your family and those you care about. As a company, we have been working through policy changes and addressing the way we operate to support your safety.

HONORING OUR COMMITMENTS
As we adapt our operations to meet the current situation, we are working diligently to honor our commitments to partners and guests. We are in regular communication with partners, sharing our activities and plans with them. We have also been providing guests with more travel flexibility, adjusting our policies around rebooking and cancellation to provide peace of mind.

OWNING OUR RESULTS
However, over the past week, we have seen a number of governments enact travel bans, close borders and restrict travel in other ways. These decisions are beyond our control and impact the ability of many resort properties to operate as usual, as well as the safety of our guests and staff members. For those reasons, we will be temporarily closing some properties in the coming days. You will see an official notification shortly about the hotels that will be closing now and should be prepared for others to follow. While this is a significant step, I am confident it is the right decision to ensure we remain a strong and resilient organization, as well as ensure the well-being of our staff. We must do everything possible to manage our business for long-term success at this time, even it means that some short-term decisions are challenging.

You are the core of the AMR™ Collection brand. You have been and will continue to be our very top priority. We will get through these moments to better times and I am honored to work with each of you. It humbles me to see the kindness you have extended each other and the support you have to generously shared. I am deeply grateful for your commitment, your extraordinary effort, your willingness to be flexible and your optimism even in this moment. Together, we will need to make short term sacrifices in order to come through this situation as a united team. I know we will accomplish great things.
While our vision to turn vacation dreams into lifelong memories for guests may be interrupted for the moment, we will return to it with renewed energy and enthusiasm when the pandemic has passed. People love to travel, love our destinations, love our resorts and love our staff. They will be back soon.
